I found my local coffee place! Since moving to a new area I have been searching for a regular café with good coffee. I had no luck until the other day when I tried the coffee at Jarra Infusion in Pinjarra. I’m not a coffee expert, but I know I like the taste and that’s all that matters. It definitely beats the other options in the area, which I had tried and was left disappointed. And best of all, the coffee at Jarra Infusion is organic.

When you walk into the old historic building the café is located in, you’ll be greeted by friendly (and flowery) staff; you can’t help but smile. The café feels warm and homely, with charming art and gifts everywhere you look. There’s something welcoming and cosy about an old building, and you’ll want to stay there all day.

What makes Jarra Infusion different is the food options. If you have a food intolerance you are likely to find something you can eat. There are plenty of tasty gluten free and dairy free options. The café owner, Nic has a thorough understanding of food allergies and intolerance. She does her best to avoid contamination by keeping allergens separate, and gluten free foods on the top shelf. I know it can be a worry when you eat out and are served by someone who doesn’t fully understand contamination (you won't find that here). So it’s refreshing to find a place where the staff are knowledgeable and sympathetic when it comes to special diets.

Jarra Infusion is located at 28 George Street, Pinjarra; just across the road from the shopping centre. Opening hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 8am to 3pm on Sundays. They offer breakfast and lunch for dine in or takeaway. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and kids are welcome. See you there!
